About Us
Ten Eveleen is a Queensland based label founded in 2022 by Madeline Woodman. Named after her childhood home where her love for creation and fashion emerged, Ten Eveleen aims to create garments with personality and own unique energy.
Ten Eveleen is proud to be partnered with a manufacturing house in Bali, Indonesia, where a fun, ethical, and dynamic work environment is central to their business values.
Our production partner is certified by the Department of Social Welfare and Labour in Bali and meets the following criteria:
- No underage employees
- Above-award wages that surpass government regulations
- Provision of sick leave, annual leave, and pensions for all direct employees
- Facilities include prayer rooms, restrooms, communal break areas, well-ventilated and well-lit workspaces, and western-standard bathrooms
Additionally, they are accredited by the Environmental Agency in Bali for their adherence to environmental standards and possess all necessary government licenses for industry operation.
The facility offers its staff weekly exercise classes, prayer breaks, one-hour lunch breaks, paid overtime, annual bonuses, a 13th-month salary, and ongoing support during the Covid-19 pandemic. Many employees have been with the factory since its inception, and all managerial positions are held by women. For us, ethical manufacturing encompasses understanding, compassion, and patience, and we proudly embrace and nurture Balinese and Indonesian traditions, ceremonies, and culture within the factory.
Each Ten Eveleen garment is lovingly handmade by the skilled artisans we are proud to call our production partners. When you choose Ten Eveleen, you are supporting ethical production and fair trade practices.
Sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability is a continuous journey, driven by our drive for improvement and positive impact on the environment. We believe that it all begins with thoughtful design. At Ten Eveleen, we strive to create timeless and durable wardrobe staples that are meant to be cherished and worn for years. Our products are crafted from high-quality, certified materials sourced from sustainable and ethical suppliers, with a focus on minimising environmental impact throughout their lifecycle.
In line with our environmental commitment, we follow a no plastics policy. All garments are shipped to us in biodegradable, plant-based cassava bags. Your Ten Eveleen purchase is then packed and sent to you in recyclable packaging and eco-friendly mailers.
Handmade Corsets
All Handmade Corsets are designed and made in house by Madeline herself to ensure quality and ethical manufacture.
